The Express Entry immigration program
The Express Entry is one of the most opted and applied for Canadian immigration program in 2020. The Express Entry program is a transparent electronic program where skilled immigrants can apply to migrate to Canada to work. This is solely based on skills and points which are allotted for different eligibility factors.
The system offers eligible candidates with about 60 different programs to migrate to Canada.
To be eligible for this program, you need to score a minimum number of 67 points. Once you have the required score (67 points) you can apply under the Express Entry profile. You also need to score points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). This will make you eligible to get the Invitation for the Permanent Residency visa of Canada.

How the points are assigned for CRS calculation?
The Comprehensive Ranking System includes 4 essential areas of the applicant’s profile. The more points you score in the Comprehensive Ranking System, the higher the chances you have to obtain permanent residency of Canada.

The final step in the application process is an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canada Permanent Residence. For this ITA, you need to get points more than or equal to CRS cut off, which is the minimum number of points, a candidate must score. Based on the latest express entry draw, the cut-off score is 473.
Applicants who score 450+ tends to get a permanent residency of Canada in 8-10 months’ time. It is important to note that the CRS Points and 67 points-based systems (Federal Skilled Worker) are different points systems.
